Liberal denotes mostly economical politics, Left is more philosophical. I consider myself a Central Populist because I believe in only labeling what works and doesn't. If the policy is good, it's good. Leftist is counter culture, revolutionary, anti-status quo.

I think im not very liberal economically though. Im a democratic socialist, but Im not really sure because I have not much knowledge about economics, I just want that poor and socially low income classes are uplifted and that no one needs to die because he freezes in the cold or of hunger, or because he cannot afford a life sustaining surgery.

The myth that Southern symbols represent hate. The Southern man and woman are descendants from the earliest British colonists, Scots, Welshmen, Englishmen, Irishmen, Cornish and colonial Dutch. The "Confederate Flag" (the flag of the army of Northern Virginia). The flag is representative of St.Andrews cross, the satire of Scotland. The South has heavily colonized by Highland, Lowland and Ulster-Scots. It is a heavily protestant region with colonial accents. Southern people have only ever wanted to maintain the rights we fought for in the revolution and when those were usurped they found no use for the Union of states that it had helped to create. The civil war was never about slavery on either side, but about state sovereignty and the right of a state to dictate it's individual laws. The Carpetbagger Northern colonists created the institution of segregation, for over a century the left has used African Americans as shock troops for their war of power consolidation. They infiltrated the traditionally conservative Democratic party and led it to what it is today.
