Default Did Islam ruin the Middle East?

Since Islam was installed as a religion it seems MENA states lost their stability and went under control of religious fanatics who can't make rational steps to integrity and development. Iran was a prime examlle as it got Westernised in the early of the 20th century but once the radical Islam took place it seems to fall backwards again and completely decentralised. In Europe Albania and Bosnia seems a prime example of what happens once Islam became the main religion.

Middle East would be better without Islam. Iran should unite with Kurdistan and become Zoroastians.

No, as the Middle-East was more advanced than all of Europe(save for Byzantium) up to 1000 AD, possibly 1200 AD and had actually progressed from what it was before.

This whole idea of any modern place being worse off than before is ludicrous, the Middle-East today is a better place to live than at any period in history(same goes with every region in the world), and it has more intelligent people per capita overall, before you had 5% of the population being literate elites and everyone else digging holes and planting wheat. The Middle-East may seem like a war-torn and conflicted region today, you think that wasn't the case in the medieval era? Wars have only lessened(along with casualties) as time went on, this includes WW1/WW2, which are seen as particularly horrible because the population of the world was already huge at the time.

Way too many romanticize ancient civilizations. If you think there are Religious fanatics in the world today, you would not have survived during the medieval era.
The Guanche skulls as a whole are unlike those of modern European Mediterraneans, and resemble northern European series most closely, especially those in which a brachycephalic element is present, as in Burgundian and Alemanni series.
divided them into clearly differentiated types, which include a Mediterranean, a Nordic, a "Guanche," and an Alpine. The "Guanche" accounts for 50 per cent of the whole on the four islands of Teneriffe, Gomera, Gran Canaria, and Hierro; the Nordic for 31 per cent, the Mediterranean for 13 per cent, and the Alpine

The USA helped radical islamist to take control in Iran now they want it backwards because Ahmedijad is pro Russian and it makes fear in America if Iran makes agreements with Russia in terms of Oil currency and if the oil currency becomes rubel then the USA will lose it's dominance and fall backwards
