"This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: every male among you shall be circumcised. "And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and you. "And every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised throughout your generations, a servant who is born in the house or who is bought with money from any foreigner, who is not of your descendants."(genesis 17:12)
And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.(galatians 5:3)
For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man.(John 7:22)
What were the followers of JESUS called at that time? Christians or Jews? Lol.
Keep following your saint Paul.. I'm sure he knew Jesus better than his disciples.

".. Nevertheless, it is not hard to give the impression that New Testament is pro-circumcision. Jesus was circumcised (Luke 1:59) and so were his disciples. The Apostle Paul circumcised Timothy, or had him circumcised, (Acts 16:3). Paul cautioned the Corinthians against uncircumcising themselves. (1 Cor. 7:18). While the New Testament does say this, it distorts its message on this subject."

lol you have picked a few verses out and ignored the context and the rest of the scriptures
The New Testament CLEARLY states that it is no longer required for men to be circumcized. Anyone who knows a little about the Bible will tell you that. Read all of it, not selected bits taken out of context. And Christians have understood this since the earliest of times, until today.
Even the verse you quote, Galatians 5:3, is actually an admonision to NOT be circumcized... not to be circumcized, as you claim... since Christians are no longer under the Law of Moses, but they are under the Law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus. The Book of Galatians makes it very clear, you should read it in its entirety Jesus fulfilled the Law, we are free from its yoke and obligations.
