I have to say that to me "passing" as some ethnicity is not the same as looking as being from that ethnicity, but just being able to reasonably blend in, that's it.

It defeats the purpose as most European ethnicities have native people that are Northern looking, Southern looking, Eastern looking or Pan-Euro that blend in OK as individuals. If you can post a random group from Southern Europe that blend in OK in NW Europe that's more noteworthy.

I would agree with this. Some of the people posted here don't really look particularly northwestern Euro to me. Anyway I think group pictures always show where people are from generally. I'm not criticising the thread though; all populations have outliers with the majority looking more typical of that nationality. I'm generally more interested in what the most common look in an ethnicity is rather than trying to find a certain look to pass in different populations.
