Lia Motrechko, a 17-year-old Ukrainian girl who took refuge in Seville two years ago , has achieved the best academic record in the quarter of ESO in the Andalusian capital.
Motrechko currently lives with his family in one of the centers of the Spanish Refugee Assistance Commission (CEAR). According to the institution, "it is an example as many others of people who have had to flee for reasons of armed conflict and who strive and bring their talents to our society."

Motrechko and his family had to flee the Crimean peninsula after the invasion of the Russian armed forces in 2014. she wasn't 'awarded', she's had the best acedemic record of Seville city and she arrived to Spain only two years ago from more or less another planet.

I guess the language she studies is spanish of course, if they want refugees to integrate it would be pointless to educate them in other language than spanish.
