H women vs. U women

Mine is U8b, from Western Armenia, near Lake Van. A lot of Basques have U8a, on the other hand, Wikipedia says that U8b can be found in Italy and Jordan. Haplogroup K has been identified as a Subclad of U8b (Haplogroup U8b-K). Haplogroup U8b-K makes up a sizable fraction of the U8b People in Europe and West Asia, and it originated in Northeastern Italy.

My mtdna H2a1 is a classic Armenian group.

U probably existed along haplogroup C and also existed independently among a lot of groups in the east. Kind of all over the place
