OK granted. And I used to argue with Sikeliot when he singled out Sicilians and Southern Italians as being uniquely exotic, when most look no different to other Southern Europeans. (Unlike him, I have actually visited Sicily). What's more, insofar as it is true that Europeans physiologically do overlap a lot, it is because many Southern Europeans (at least superficially) look Northern Euro, but not really the other way round.

I feel closer with whites outside Europe than with non-Euro immigrants. But not very close. Overall I don't feel close to both, but still I will share more with white non-Europeans.
But I would feel closer to non European born and raised in Europe if we grew up togheder ofcouse. It's natural.

First generation non Europeans are very foreign, and many 2nd and 3rd generation can remain due to growing up in ethnic ghettos with other immigrants separated from host population.
This happens in western Europe though, because of huge immigration. In my country foreigners are not separated from us due to their small numbers so they have much better chance for integration and acceptance.

When I lived in U.S. I felt very different from White Americans including my own Croatian-American relatives. They have very little to no similarities with us Croats.

But that could be because US is very Anglo influenced culturally, so English or let's say Dutch immigrant may feel much less foreign than I did. Because in Europe itself cultural differences are HUGE and most natives wouldn't fit in every corner of continent.

I'm an Anglo-Spaniard, I feel more affinity towards the diaspora from the British Isles in Anglophone countries, I tend to to have an "instinctively positive disposition" towards people from CANZUK + US wherever in the world I meet them. I don't feel any kinship with people from LatAm other than some cultural overlap with Spain.

I've grown to befriend non-Euro/white immigrants on an individual basis, but as ethnic groups go, I'm much more likely to "instinctively" distrust-to-outright-ostracise them.

I think it is all bout the 'culture' and language than about the race. So it is a cultural thing.

Lets talk about the USSR and the ex-USSR countries. Citizens of the ex-Soviet countries and especially the older generation are still very open toward other ex-Soviet counties.

It is all about culture and religion. It has nothing to do with the race.
Russia is a very very racist country.

You can not even imagine how from West.

But as a Nordic I feel that Schleswig-Holstein region of mainland Europe is closest to us Scandos.
