I agree with him though. Germany was defeated. Germany was the Nazis. Germany is not liberated but occupied and destroyed. Let me tell you Im not anti-german Im pro-german and I think that Angela Merkel really must feel awkward because she is like a cuck there. I think it is time, that Germany does their own thing and stop licking butts and apologising. Well the Holocaust happened, and it was terrible but that was 70 years ago no one apologises for Cenghis Khan anymore or for Attilla the Hun.

I think Germany handles this very maturely and have apologised. Many countries have incidents in their past where they have done terrible things. Germany is one of the few countries that have tried to make amends.

What country is going to apologise for Genghis Khan or Attila the Hun? There is no modern day country equivalent. WW2 is also relatively recent history but I don't think many people today blame modern day Germans or Japanese for what happened then.

I know that a Danish minister apologised to Ireland for Vikings raids but I think it was a bit of a joke and everyone took it like that.

Anyway, in response to OP I think any country apologizing for some part of it's past is pathetic. Makes them look weak.

Why should modern day Germany be forced into an apology for what *some* of the forefathers of the citizens took part in? If there was an ongoing financial dispute with another nation sure, pay back any debt that’s owed. But collective guilt is always ridiculous, especially for an event that’s been milked dry.
