Samples from Volga Scythians / Sarmatians show that they descent from Sintashta with some Central Asian farmer and Asian admixture.

Under 2 is obviously a good fit whereas 5 isn't. So I'm much closer to Bell Beakers than Scythians which I guess me being West European isn't too surprising.

I don't suppose this is a good model because of overfitting.

Long live the Czech Republic Beakers! You did get a fair amount of Bell Beaker England. Pretty cool.

Totally dishonest results, i believe they used the Hungarian Scythian sample that comes closest to Europeans and is in all likelihood an assimilated native, just to please their European audience. Scythians were very heterogeneous but the ones from the Scythian core in the Samara region had more steppe IE admixture than Bell Beakers. This is how Iron Age Iranic nomads looked like before expanding in all directions.

I think you are probably right that it was an assimilated native sample. One big problem is the labels (like Scythian) given to these samples can be inaccurate and misleading.
