I think that a majority of inifidelity cases have nothing to do with no respect or no loving for the husband. It's just the same that happens to men; get out of the routine life from time to time, sexual (and only sexual) drive for someone new and that kind of things. A modern and liberal psychologist would even say that an extra-marital 'adventure' from time to time is good for the health of a marriage.

I have never cheated on a women and had plenty of opportunity to. Sex is 80% mental. If you don't know women, you can't please a woman. Well, human psyche is diverse. Some women and men are like you say and some others feel and think in a different way and they cheat on their partner for the reasons I said before, and I don't mean that they are cheating every week or so, that would be like the cases that you mentioned.

If after 15 or 20 years of happy marriage you discover that your partner cheated you a few years back having a sporadic sexual affair, would you walk away from him?.

That's very different from being unfaithful every week for example.
