Every metropolis is full of immigrants nowadays... but that is not the point.
About Tokyo, nearly all "Tokyo Japanese" are far from being a Japanese in mind/heart/soul, they are much more rootless beings, people that are obsessed with economics, personal and selfish success, they simply don't bond together... without even mention the bizarre cultural things you can find there (a HUGE alienating industry whether video games or porngraphy and so on).
That is not truth for the countryside, but since people are not having many children and the young people always tend to move to big centers (and if they come back after study there they bring some of the globalist mindset to their homes), Japan is gradually becoming a full bitch nation.
Honestly, my only hope for Nihon culture is Shinzo Abe (and other serious nationalists that are working behind the curtains), he is very competent, he understands realpolitk, but if he somehow fails in his cultural mission, Japan, just like South Korea seems to be now, will be totally cuturally anexed in some years (I would say in about 3 decades if nothing changes).
