Least paleolithic parts of Europe in terms of Y dna are west europe (Iberia, Britain, Ireland etc), Italy and Kosovo/Albania.

Ireland has only 7% I1/I2 combined for example; they are almost entirely R1. Kosovo is only 8% I1/I2.

Britain isn't as low as I thought actually; there's a lot of I1 due to Saxons, vikings etc. Portugal has only 3% I1/I2 though which is pretty low.

A lot of the I1 and I2 who came over with the Vikings or Normans existed in Northern England and Mid-Southern Scotland, the ones in Scotland have probably largely been depopulated though into Canada, Australia and the U.S.A.

There'll be a lot of I1 in East Anglia and Yorkshire specifically; since these are the most anglo-saxon areas of England. Someone with same surname as my English grandfather from same region is tested I1; so I may be I from both grandfathers .

York was a mixed Dane/Saxon settlement I think a lot of the Danes just became Normans and moved into Scotland though.

Higher than Bulgaria and Macedonia definitely. With Montenegro there's no reliable studies from what I can see; I added up results for Zeta on the dna project a while back and I2 was 45% if I can recall. But slavicised Albanians in Brda and Sandzak who will end up in many of the more official studies will bring average down.
