Their neighbors in the region like Egyptians, Iraqis, Persians, Levantines, and Greeks had an ancient history stretching back many thousands of years, even Arabs had a big impact from the spread of Islam. But Turks did not even exist in Anatolia till 500 years ago. All they have is the Ottoman Empire how do they feel about this.
