I believe the Classical Olympic Games should be allowed for women. None of such are being held nowadays, I believe the Greeks have a job to do.

These are first round games … if home team France will end to play for their first championship (ending to final, which is quite possible) … we'll have better picture how popular women soccer is/can be.

O.K.. let's see: Netherlands-Portugal (9 June - male): 3.239.000 viewers. (which was a bad match which drew far fewer views than usual)
(8 June) - women's football international 682.000

I know nobody who watched it but they claim that NL-NZ (women's football) had 1.6 million viewers. Which is about the same number as of views as your daily 6 o' clock evening news broadcast (views for 8 June were 1.089.000 for that particular broadcast on NPO1)
