Yellow onions and they are actually quite sharp (although not as harsh as Egyptian onions).

Come during spring. Then it's fresh. Be sure to keep an eye on the papers (if anything appears in English) to see when the first catch comes in. It should be on the front page.

Interesting, i thought shallot would be used, its one of my favourite mild onions to eat raw in large ammounts.
Yellow is pretty sharp in taste, havent tried it but might be good.

Shalot is used here but it's not the number one onion here.

I am more simple when it comes to food. I don't mind meat and vegetables. Sauces get in the way of the taste, as does too much spice. But, I do like certain spices such as oregano, basil, bay leaf, thyme, parsley, rosemary, a little cumin, and paprika. I like some hot pepper flakes for a spicy touch but never too much. I put garlic in almost everything savory, whether it calls for it or not.

Italian cuisine is best one in Europe imo; and Balkan cuisine is pretty good.

The United Kingdom isn't last? Fake news, bad article. In all seriousness though, I think it's nothing short of insane that someone would rank Scandinavian food as the worst in Europe. It's true that the dishes are boring and bland compared to the decadent cuisines of Southern Europe, but the strength of those dishes is not in their simplicity but in their quality - the ingredients used are probably some of the highest quality you can find anywhere in the world, let alone just in Europe. It's probably still not enough for it to outclass Mediterranean food in the rankings, but even placing it outside of the top 10 is ridiculous in my opinion.

With that being said, I do agree with the order and placement of the top 4 in this article - and it's nice to see Iberian cuisine getting the love it deserves, I think it's also very underrated.

I have tried Dutch, Belgium, Germany cuisine and let me tell you, shit was nasty as fuck
no wonder immigrants stick to their own cuisine

white Dutch people even prefer Suriname cuisine and it has taken over the Netherlands
when I was in the Netherlands, I only ate Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Moroccan, Italian etc cuisine
I just couldnt handle Dutch food, there were like 4 nice dishes that I liked from them, the rest, hell nah

I think Southern Euros need to start a mass invasion in Central and Northern euro and make their cuisines better
cause those mofos be struggling mad hard in them bitch as kitchens!
