Do you prefer Indian or Chinese food?

The two most populous countries in the world are both famous for their cuisine. In the UK these are some of the oldest and most widely available take away options and they are of close to equal popularity. In Britain there is a slight class bias with Indian food being a little more popular among the middle class but not its not a big difference. Of course nowadays various SEA and even Uighur food (which is great) are very popular too, which probably cuts into the Chinese market and (perhaps in response to their ascent) many Chinese places are pan East Asian serving both north and south east Asian.

Which do you prefer? Please vote.

Indian food is mostly vegetarian or chicken, I don't like chicken too much, not enough meat on it. I need like a leg of lamb or a good tri tip. Chinese food probably just because they got some good shit like egg rollls, chicken fried rice and chow mein. But I like the concept of Indian food more.

I like both a lot, but I prefer the Indian diet which is mostly vegetables and chicken... Since chicken is the ONLY meat that doesn't make me want to throw up LOL

And chinese food always makes me feel sick and hurts my stomach after or even during the meals idk why lol

Yes, I think that may be the case for their native cuisine. Though at least here in England (and probably America) you can usually get lamb or Prawn instead of chicken for most dishes.

I would agree do find Chinese food can be a bit sickening depending on where you get it. Some of the local Chinese take out places dotted around here are quite bad and usually have a lot of black people in them for some reason. They seem to like Chinese food a lot.

Yea I would probably like Indian Muslim food more, but all our Indians are mostly Sikh or Hindu, they never cook meat . Sikhs cook pork though but I am not a big fan of pork either. I am a picky eater.

Yes its the same here, most Indians are Sikh, Hindu or Christian and usually Bangladeshis are the ones who work in the Indian restaurants.
