The title of this thread is wrong, it should be: 'European ethnicitieS don't exist' because what the article actually says is that all Europeans (as distinct from non-Europeans) are related. It seems today genetics is used to 'prove' whatever ideological agenda one has, usually, but not only, the 'Regressive Leftist' one... As a molecular biologist I can say that few, if any, studies about population genetics wholly agree with each other. There are so many confounding factors, like what genetic markers are used, the power of the study, how the samples are selected etc. Not to mention that most of genetic markers used in population studies are not affected by environmental selection, which is the main driving force behind evolution and differentiation between populations.
