Buda or Pest: what do you prefer and why ?

Buda is smaller, higher class, older and hilly part of city. Royal Castle is there, Mathias Church, Fishermen Bastion and old town which preserved some mediaval buildings.

There are lot of rich residential neighbourhoods with villas and lot of nature.

Pest is larger, flat, more urban and more cosmopolitan part of city, with burgeois character. Parliament, St Istvan Basilica, varosiget park, Hero Square and grandiose bulevards with art noveau buildings are there.

Also exist old working class ghettos with crowded buildings.

If somebody can put photos or videos of both sides go for it. I am on mobile...

Buda means toilet in Romanian, I'm not joking.
And Pest doesn't sound any better, pesta means plague (as in black plague).

I can only image how unfortunate Budapesta sounded to Romanians who had it as a capital city.
