If you're not trolling, other people already gave good advice here. I just want to add that: if it is posible, try to be with the mother (in the same house), that would be the best scenario for the child. I wish you all the best!

I am engaged and we know that this could happen so we already planned well in advance of how quickly we should get married (speed up the process) if this were ever to take place.
