Other blatant examples include Iraq in 2003, and Syria in 2017, both of which involved fraudulent accusations about weapons of mass destruction (WMD). In 2003, George W Bush & Collin Powell falsely accused Saddam Hussein of concealing WMDs; and, in 2017, Donald Trump & Nikki Haley falsely accused Syria's Assad of using chemical weapons.
Fool me once shame on you.

Fool me twice shame on me.

Fool me... 4... 5 times... err...

It's possible Iran had something to do with the tankers even though it doesn't make any sense (unless we're unware of something) but considering the long history of false flags it would be irresponsible to go into war mode right away.

btw, I don't place the sinking of the Maine under the category of a false flag. That appears to have been accident.

We know that Saudi Arabia is the source of funding for probably the majority of international sunni terrorism, also likely surpassing the terrorist regime of Iran. it is very likely that members of the Saudi government/royal family actually fund terrorists too. Certainly If we're going to have a war on terror our focus should be Saudi Arabia - even if their government is not directly funding terrorists, which I seriously doubt, they are still responsible to deal with the massive numbers of their citizenry who are funding/participating in it.

agreed but iran is not saint . They also have their fair share of shia terrorism and they fund their allies against saudi arabia. Biggest source of terrorism is israel and usa who are funding both side to keep this reigon burning for their own interest

OK, pick a side. I don't care. The US backed Stalin, really bad guy, against the Hitler/Nazis. Everybody is a terrorist LOL.

Oh sh-t, my bad. I never would've willfully made that mistake. I definitely know the difference! LOL

It's all over other news sources. They may have gotten it from the NY Times. Most usually follow the NYTimes lead.

Me too. But it wouldn't surprise me if Trump went to war.
