Pardon my ignorance, but wouldn't it depend on the part of India that the person in question is from? I was under the impression that Northeast Indians had a distinctly more Mongoloid look, but that South Indians and SE Asians would be more easily distinguishable from one another.

yes bro there are decent amount of mongoloid indians. The northeast indian states cover a range of 8 states and they have partial to full mongoloid ancestry who are close to chinese, tibetans, and burmese. Also there are tibetan influenced indians in extreme northern states of kashmir, himachal pradesh, and uttarakhand.

some indians in northeast look more east asian than most chinese people even. this girl looks straight up korean according to a korean user from another forum.

yeah i think he didnt know mongoloid pheno or influence exists in india. its not strong in every individual but even outside northeast and himalayan region it pops up here and there in decent proportions imo
that is him actually. i've seen his childhood pic before and he's not lying. even now he shows slight mongoloid influence
