Hello!
Hello! New user here. Started off interested in genealogy when I was young. Currently 32. About 7 years ago I started building my family tree and found some interesting and surprising things. So I took a 23andme test last summer and then started getting interested in DNA. Which is what drove me here! I also think taxonomy is pretty interesting and was trying to figure that out. As far as my background, I’m from the US. My paternal grandmother has a lot of English Quaker (which makes genealogy a dream thanks to their amazing records) and my paternal grandfathers side is largely Manx and was my most recent immigrant ancestor. My maternal grandfather has a lot of English and German (from Pennsylvania) on his side. My Maternal Grandmothers ancestry was mostly English colonial Americans with some more recent Irish immigrants.
I think this forum is pretty interesting and I’m hoping to learn more from it. So nice to meet you all!
