Should I order from them also? How accurate are the results? I have ordered genetic tests from 8 different companies but not this one. Last time I spoke to them they said they stopped doing Y and mtDNA tests, only Ancestry.

I think I will give it a miss. I'm already with 8 different companies. So no need for more tests.

Some of my lines are well into the early middle-ages, some go into royalty that's why it goes far back... I can't verify the authenticity that far back (in familysearch).

In my own research I found ancestors from 1700's and late 1600's, from books and very old documents.

In my bessarabian line my oldest ancestors were born in the 1750's, they lived well into the early 1800s.

So just now, with some more information than 2 years ago (actually is basically the same), the oldest known ancestor from a lateral branch of my maternal side would be:

Juan (El viejo) Jiménez de Losilla born in 1490 in ***** de Álava.

I put aside the noble branches not sure.

The most distant ancestor is Robin Léziart, seigneur de la Lézardière.

He would have been born around 1390 and would be married to Perrine (de) Cucé.
Mention is made in a document of 1668 (the nobility of Brittany in the chamber of the reformation, 1668-1671), of an exchange contract dated August 29, 1424 between noble ecuyer Robin Leziart lord of Leziardière and damsel Perrine de Cucé his wife, and noble lady Janne de Cucé, younger sister of Perrine.

of Martim Moniz who was a knight that fought against the Moors.

1. Martim Moniz was a Portuguese crusader who fought with the first king of Portugal Dom Afonso Henriques, when he conquered what was then the Islamic city of Al-Usbuna which would subsequently become the Christian capital of Portugal. Lisbon. Many Templars assisted in this battle with Bernard of Clairvaux hoping that the new kingdom of Portugal would be a dagger in to the western flank of the Islamic realms. Moniz did not survive the battle as, according to legend, he rammed his not inconsiderable frame in to an open gateway to prevent the Moors closing it on the invading crusaders. His body was crushed between the gates but his heroism allowed the Portuguese to enter and win.1 He married Doña Ximena Rodríguez de Bezudo, the daughter of Rodrigo Gutiérrez de las Asturias.2

Thats the earliest ancestor I know. Not my direct lineage. Just the earliest i know.
