Yes, light hair is relatively rare. I think this is big difference to northern parts of Croatia.
We have bit different facial features too - and most of Dalmatian have dolicocephalic skull shape!

So you're saying they fit better in Russia? In regards their phenotypes the main elements seem Norid, Dinarid, some Atlanto Med and Pontid can appear here and there. I don't see a lot Baltids, Gorids and stereotypical Slavic faces. They have a fair share of overlap with the surrounding Balkan region even down to Greece and up to Austria.

I did not mention Russia and you are quite boring. We are not Italian looking because first of all, difference in size is huge.
Dalmatian men are tallest in the world.

Second, facial features are lot more eastern than Italians. They look quite Slavobalkanic, yes - like our genetics.
It is interesting how I feel many can fit in Bulgaria and Romania due to Pontids.

I don't understand this logic. Height is a trait determined by both genetics and environmental factors. While mostly genetic, the important genes are found on the autosomal DNA and probably has not lot to do with the snps that determine your haplogroups.

Croatians are indeed very tall, but that's probably due to natural selection and adaptation, maybe with the contribution of sexual selection.

Regarding the thread. I think that Dalmatians have close look to Hungarians, Serbs, People from Bosnia and Slovenians.

Croatians are the most attractive Balkanites IMO.
