I know. Even if I were American, I wouldn't vote for either party. The Dems are hypocrites to Blacks and genuine to everyone else, from Mestizo immigrants, gays, feminists to environmentalists, pedos, etc. The Republicans "don't see race" so they are of no help for Black folks either. Black Americans should create their own party or at least form a cohesive block in the US congress where Black interests come first, regardless of party affiliation. Being that African Americans are 14 to 15% of the population, they would be a crucial voting block to get anything done in congress. They could use that power to bargain a lot of things.

Those are good points, but the fact is that Blacks aren't missing out on anything. They fill plenty of public offices, they are among the most successful, beloved, and respected people in the popular media, and so on... for only being less than 15% of the population, they're quite well, if not over-, represented.

Catholics make up about 25% of the US population, but we've only had one Catholic president, and he was assassinated.
