Default Help With R-L51 Cousin of Cordedwhelp

A relative popped up on 23 on my mother’s account (3-5 cousin I believe) who was assigned ydna R-L51. This guys surname is Roemisch, a name which indeed runs down my mother’s fathers side of the family. Our Roemisches are German, likely from Swabia. It’s a rare name as far as I can tell.

What are some proposed scenarios this clade got into Germany? I heard there is a unetice type connection. Can it be considered native to Germany? (Not that it originated there, but I only mean, has a long enough established presence as to not be of recent-ish foreign origin)

    Thanks!
