first one are from puglia they are orecchiette ( small ears) its just a small pasta in the shape of a concave dish. they make them by pinching a sheet of fresh pasta with their thumb. tortellini instead usually have a hollow space inside with meat and seasoning and are served in a broth, very good.

I've always loved italian foods, for example pizza, gnocchi, spagetti, caprese salad etc. My cousin's husband is italian from Venice and he's excellent cook

Man that pseudo Italian grammar...
Annnnyway... just a small note: pasta with meatballs is not Italian.
My favorite types of pasta are: Carbonara, with Ragù, Arrabbiata, Amatriciana and with Pesto.

I've a lot of preserves around the place so my heart belongs to Spaghetti Puttanesca; a tasty dish for hoes on the go, that ain't got time to grow shit in the yard.
