Closer to French, British, Balkan and Central Europeans than to Northern Africans or middle easterners.

Feel Scandinavians and east Slavs as more distant, but not more distant than Northern Africans and middle easterners.

It is not Italy that is European, it is Europe that is Italian.

If you read the history of classical european music .. you could understand that Europe = Italy

I know that it is not polite to make the inhabitants/nordid people of northern Europe feel insignificant ..but the history can't be denied... ( History is something different than Marvel comics that are the historycal sources of ASATRU followers )

In culture it is an intermediate.

And in other phenotypes and genetics the other Europeans win.

One of the best Roman colonies was Tunis, and the Romans took many influences from other civilizations of North Africa and the Levant.

The Mediterranean diet, is an important column that has in common all the Mediterranean countries.

its an even split, but then again northern Euros were infuleced by Mediteran Euros, by conquest of Rome, democracy being an old Greek idea, and of course christian religion was spread from south, and with religion come values.

I would put it this way, mediterans both Euro and not have similar climate, similar foods, and similar temperament, while north euros were highly influenced by med euros so they hold similar values

If a med thinks Anglos are aliens to their own kin (which I don't judge) what, then, would be SSA people?! At least we had more contact with Notherners since ancient times.

I am brazilian but I would guess they have much more in common with other europeans, because of muslim culture in mediterranean places outside Europe, I mean there are people of italian and portuguese descent here and they don't act like islamic people or something like that

Go to Leibniz Newton Descartes Goethe Kant private library and count the books of the ancient Romans and Greeks and renaissance Italians..

The common law in England was not taught till 1860 at the university... only civil roman law was taught.

To sum up, basically there are no muslims in Brazil ("Islamic", as far as I know, is not used to describe people, but things instead (like "islamic art" for instance)), so, on what you're basing it on how they behave? Furthermore, the thread is about South E. compared with North E. and Southern+Levant Meds., you compared Portuguese+Italians with Muslims... but you didn't compared them with a group that you have more examples in Brazil: Germanics (and that is the goal of the thread)... you can tell for sure that Germanics and Portuguese, for instance, do not act the same also (the cities that both groups founded here are very different in culture and architecture).
