It's the Yamnaya connection. Ireland and England were populated by Neolithic farmers who built Stonehenge. They looked like Armenians.
They were later replaced by hyper-aggressive mean Yamnaya people. They were stronger and more energetic? For whatever reason they conquered them fast.
I read a good study that actually the Neolithics got their first strain+ of bubonic plague (yersinia pestis) from Yamnaya, and it greatly reduced their #'s.

What do these old plates have to do with my observation ?
These do look disntinctly British Islanders yes, but that is not the case with many I did see especially round faced younger girls.

For example Cilian Murphy, Irish from Cork, who I consider hottest man after Stears has something eastern/baltid in his look, and he is Brunn.

Yet he is not among these east slav shifted Irish in my view. But he played a Czech quite convincigly in one of his last films

The truth is English and Irish people are not quite as closely related as PCA's would have you believe, obviously they are fundamentally close as they come from essentially the same Bronze Age stock, but English people are mostly descended from post-Bronze Age continental Celtic and Germanic invasions, while the Irish are likely mostly descended from the original Bronze Age Beakers that settled in Ireland. IBD data I think shows this divide better than anything.

With regards to the Irish East Slavic connection I can't say, but there are obviously some people in the British Isles as a whole who look strangely Eastern European and some who look strangely Southern. Again it surely goes back to the original Bell Beaker stock of Britain and Ireland, who were both darker haired and more Eastern looking than modern NW Euro's generally.
Thanks for the reply! Very informative stuff.

it seems to me that people often confuse similarity with interchangeability. Similarity does not equal interchangeability. Brunn is an exclusive North-West European type while Ladogan or its sybtypes as such East Baltic or Neo-Danubian or Baltid, East Baltid, Tavastid, Balto-CM and so on it doesn't matter what you call it are exclusive North-East European types. They look alike? For sure. They look alike to the same extent as Keltic Nordic is similar to Corded Nordic. Both clearly show general Nordci traits. Are they interchangeable? No way. The same for Brunn and Ladogan. Both are Upper Paleolithic types one of them is North-West Upper Paleolithic and other is North-East Upper Paleolithic. Both clearly show strongly Upper Paleolithic traits.
An example of North-West Upper Paleolithic from Coon.

An example of North-East Upper Paleolithic from Coon.

They look alike? For sure. Are they interchangeable? No chance.
This is Irish actress Saoirse Una Ronan. She looks clearly Irish. I can't imagine her passes in Continental Europe, in Scandinavia or in North-East Europe.

This is Russian actress Anastasia Panina. She looks distinctly North-East European. Pass only as Russian, Karelian, Komi and so on. I can't imagine her as Irish, British, Scandinavian or Central European.

They both show strongly Upper Paleolithic traits. They look alike? For sure. Are they interchangeable? No way.
I think Irish and North-East Europeans have their own unique look. It's what connects us.

I totally agree. I've never seen a Irish that can pass in North-East Europe and a North-East European that can pass as a Irish.

    What about Dido?

I don't think she looks particularly Baltic / NE European but she's a common enough British Isles type that looks shifted that way.
    Spoiler!
