    Default Anglican minister says Bible is flawed, stands with gay pride

    1 Timothy 4:1,2

    1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,
    giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

    2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron

    The Anglican Church is doomed. Let's be frank about this: let's retain the High Church and reunite with Rome when they get their act together. The Low Church can, if actually still Christian, join other Protestant groups but the institution is doomed.

    Wake up and smell the coffee.

    Well, she rejected the Bible a long time ago because it's very clear that women are not to hold leadership positions in the church. She's following her own religion, not Christianity.

    I'll be honest, this woman does not really represent the Anglican church. I know many Anglicans who are excellent Christians. And no, Rome is definitely not the answer. It's even worse.

    1 Corinthians 14:34-35 King James Version (KJV)

    34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
    35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

    Also shocking was the people trying to make noise to drown out the preacher preaching the gospel. We live in wicked times... people are away from God, and haters of God. But there is not much time left... if these people don't repent it is going to be hell for them... quite literally.

    I think Rome has a chance to reform. It's pretty much built in the system: you get bad antipopes and, since Vat II, good antipopes. But Vat II needs to be overcome and scrapped.

    Not impossible. But the point is that God is the ultimate authority, and Jesus is the head of his church, which is the body of Christian believers... not a particular church organization. No church can save anyone, and people shouldn't be putting their trust in any church, but in God alone.

    That's nice but believers must be led and heretics stamped out before they can do damage. Unfortunately, the Church is the only organisation that can do this. And they failed in that task.

    We have a different opinion on this Feel free to go with "the Church" as you call it, I am not seeing that one as the one God wants me to follow.
