Some southern European men here are very self-obsessed and are on an ego-boosting trip... so they can't appreciate or respect anything outside of their own countries or neighbouring nations.... whether it's different architecture, cuisines, cultures, people, etc.

I think beautiful architecture can be found in lots of nations, but I guess they won't respect that due to their pride and insecurities preventing them.

I respect only things and facts that are true...

For example i have no problem to say that the greatest writer ever is Shakespeare - English - ( and not because many of his novel are set in Italy )
I have no problem to say that the greatest music composer ever is Bach - German - ( even if Italy is the craddle of classic western music )..
Pianoforte and Violino and Cello ect ect.. were invented in North-Italy.. and till XVII-XVIII century 80% of the European violinos were produced in Italy.

PS.. Shakespeare and Bach were not blonde ..

Beauty is subjective and in the eye of the beholder.... some people find beauty in simplistic styles with clean lines, some prefer very elaborate styles, some like classical, some like modern, some like bright colours, others prefer subtle tones... there's no absolute answer on which is 'best'. It's kind of like interior design;- everyone has their own individual preferences. I think it would be a boring world if each nation had the exact same style, and different styles in each country are interesting.

I'd say Italy is no 1, then France and also the Islamic architecture in Spain.

It is clear : 95% of the global great and beauty "buildings-palaces-monuments" older than 100 years are Located In Europe.

If you go to visit China or India.. don't expect to find a huge quantity of beautiful "structures"... It is not an eurocentristic claim

This is San Lorenzo Church in Genoa 1118...

Check your sources Saint Denis it's in the beginning of the 12th century that they used the "croisée d'ogives" and that Suger had created several windows with stained glass.

San Lorenzo Duomo... (started in 1098 )...

Don't waste your time.. the first example of Gothic ( mixed with romanesque style like Saint Denis Church in Paris) style is ITALIAN.. as Baroque ( and rococò), Classical, Renaissance style, Palladian, Romanesque...ect ect

I don't say that St-Denis is the first example of gothic, I say only that St-Denis is the first important gothic church in Europe
