Relatively badly. Maybe a little over 50%, some of the things I think I understand I coukd very easily misunderstood (false friends etc). But I think after spending a month or so mostly among Slovak speakers I'd understand most of it and maybe start speaking some actual Slovak too as the language is grammatically very similar to Polish and the pronunciation is easy. It is definitely the more ''Polish'' language out of the pair: Czech & Slovak - and her accent seem more natural / neutral sounding to Polish ears. Slovjak dialect (from Eastern Slovakia) is even more similar.

A bit off topic maybe, but what happened to you learning Czech?

Still learning it whenever I can. Whenever I'm not obligated to other duties.

I'm not dedicated because I'm focused on my new job and soon moving to the Netherlands (closer to work and I like it better there tbh). Other priorities than learning a language. Also, even if I was dedicated, A1 in Czech in such a short time. Good luck. People can become conversational in such time, though (one YT'er did exactly did).
