Although most White Americans who have some Sub-Saharan African admixture are from the Deep South where slavery was the norm. 5%-13% of White Southerners have just over 1% African ancestry. That is way too little, they are pretty much European.

There is Sub-Saharan African Dna in Southern Europeans too, including Southern Italians and Sardinians. There is a proverb that says," if you live in glass house, don't throw stones!" Get it?
