Not. Don't confuse things. You posted that because I said that some Southern Europeans have relatively recent Sub-Saharan admixture dating at least from the Moorish invasion and particularly the Atlantic Slave-trade. Remember "don't throw stones in a glass house". The fact is whether Sub-Saharan African or plain African blood is stronger than in Southern European countries, especially those who are in a close proximity to Africa! For example, there would be less African admixture in Bulgaria/Greece than in Spain/Portugal.

Due to the racist laws such as Jim Crow ones. This made difficult for Sub-Saharan admixture to be in a greater frequency in the White American population. The one drop rule (ridiculous) as well in some parts. However African-Americans do have much higher European admixtures suffered through slavery, rapes and so on.

Quite a few of my American matches (mostly from the South) on Ancestry get around 1-3% SSA tbh, I was surprised.

I don't think I'll dip my toe into the topic of "is this true or is it not" but I will point out that you'll from time to time come across topics like this in mainstream or leftist media.
