Romanians are the closest modern population to Dacians. On matriliniar descendancy Romanians are closer to Dacians than to modern day Bulgarians (which are a population related to Romanians). Bulgarians have Thracian and Dacian ancestry themselves.

There were many other ethnicity in present day romania: scythians, alans, sarmatians, bulgars, magyars, cumans, slavs, goths, vandals, latins, huns, ottomans, tatars, greeks, neolithic europeans, mesolithis europeans and yes dacians too, romanians are descedants of these peoples.
