How does white/european admixture changes Native Americans? What are some unique Mestizo traits?

Hey guys,

I know a lot of you might associate Mestizos with Mexican/ Guatemala immigrants crossing the border. However, to me most of this people are 'fully amerindian,' I've seen the pictures as well as met some of them in Los Angeles. Moreover, they are some of the poorest people in the country, thereby lower in almost every aspect(Cultural, Intellectual and Physical). It's like saying that the European people and culture are represented by a family living in a trailer in rural Kansas.

Thereby, I'm not thinking about this group when I'm thinking of Mestizos. I'm also rejecting triracials(Some Colombias, Venezuelas, Puerto Ricans..etc) as mestizos. Since the black admixture makes them exhibit characteristics more akin to Africans that to both Europeans and Native Americans.

Who would be a actual Mestizo?
I would say Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. He was both 50% native 50% spaniard. Some of characteristics:
1-Increased in height.
2-Increase in verbal ability(amerindians like asians tend to be more visual-spatial while Europeans are more verbal)
3-A tendency towards the literary arts as opposed to more scientific pursuits. Madison Grant alluded to this.

Some of the questions I have in mind are:
What are some unique Native American characteristics?
Which other characteristic are changed?

Mestizo is an spectrum, but the typical one (majority of Mexicans) are a balanced mix of Spanish and Amerindian, but nowadays in Mexico, after the creation of the Mestizaje ideology, it has become a cultural term, so even white Mexicans are "mestizos".
Unique traits? Don't know, but whenever you see a balanced mestizo with wavy hair, for example, it's thanks to the Spaniards.
