Lots of grey eyes in Ireland apparently. Anyway I'm sure The Blade will get around to doing Finland & Sweden one of these days.
I think The Blade makes a valid point and I agree in that things like colour can be quite subjective and depends on the study. None of us here are scientists or working to a strict criteria as far as what colour is. At least with The Blade he should be using the same criteria for all the populations he's looking at.
From my own experience I think mixed eyes are quite common in Ireland and I've said that before. Someone would have seemingly blue eyes but have a darker ring around the pupil. It's called central heterochromia.

It actually includes light brown. I think the trick is in the category excludes any light parts even at very close observation; most brown eyes have dark green edges if you observe them closely. This study observed eyes in greater detail than most studies.
Anyway looking forward to your numbers on Italy. Also an idea; you should put a link of your other countries you've already done in any new post so that it's easier to compare. You found The Dutch to be lighter eyed than the Irish, right?

Adding this here from the All Hurling final and video is only 2.45 mins. Just so people can get a good unbiased representation of Irish colouring. These of course as mostly males.
All Ireland Football final 2.46 mins.

You need to get real!!! A study done by professionals from the Department of Anthropology of Harvard University, these were physical anthropologists not some amateur. What scale are you using? The study nearly 10,000 men from all over Ireland, going county by county. You would never reach that precision by yourself, these were helped by the Irish government at the time.
This statement is made by anthropologists, I quote:
" The distribution of eye color in Ireland is the most remarkable anthropological that island presents."
"Only 41 out of 8909 in the county series have pure dark eyes (0.5%)."
"Only four county groups - Sligo-Leitrim S. Fermanagh W. Cavan, Longford-Westmeath, Offaly-Leith-Kildare, and Meath-Louth-Dublin have as much as 1%."
