Default Mannerheim: The Marshal of Finland

In 2012, a film titled "The Marshal of Finland" was released. It was a film about Mannerheim, the commander-in-chief of Finland's army during WW2, the military leader of whites (non-Communists) in the Finnish civil war, and the president of Finland. It was produced by the taxpayer-funded Finnish equivalent of BBC. Mannerheim was voted as the "greatest Finn", and he might well have prevented Finland from becoming part of the Soviet Union twice.

Mannerheim was played by this great actor, Telley Savalas Otieno:

At first Mannerheim was mainly German (background) and smaller partly Swedish. He hardly spoke Finnish (even in his older age).
The original family name had been Marhein. As his ancestor had moved from Germany to to Sweden .... Sweden's King Charles XI made him Swedish noblemen in 1693 and changed the familyname to Mannerheim (back then Finland was still part of Sweden). Mannerheim's own father moved to Finland and got married with Hedvig Charlotta Hélène von Julin (who was daughter of rich industry family in Finland ... very Finnish name? LOL ... Swedish speaking family!). At that time Finland was Grand Duchy of Finland (= autonomous part of the Russian Empire).
Mannerheim joined army and got his military trainings in St Petersburg. Mannerheim served well in Tsar Nikolai II's army ....both in Russia - Japan war (1904) and WW I (1913 - 1917).... ending/rising to general. He moved back to Finland only as Tsar's family was murdered and Bolsevics had step into the power.

    Interesting person?

Anyway... yes there was a real idea to make a film about him 5 - 10 years ago. But it ended to lack of money.
    He was the main actor:

And here's original Mannerheim. A great man and so was the dark suit man on the right too.. Finland doesn't have men like those 2 anymore ....

Now they have made a film where African man plays him .... Leftists/globalization...

Nowhere if you ask me ... but they (refugees/immigrants) are mainly in big cities like Helsinki, Tammerfors, Esbo, Vanda, Åbo, Uleåborg.
