I think it's hard to categorize Indians. The ones who look almost black are also a substantial portion of Indian subcontinent. There are many Indians who resemble dark pardos/triracials.

The less distinctly looking Indians generally look Euro imo. Like Imran Khan (I consider Pakis ''Indians'').

Imran Khan is pashtun, so he's more afghan than anything. Eastern pakistanis who form 70-75% of population (punjabis, sindhis, kashmiris) are indids but the 30% like the pashtuns, balochis, northern pakistanis are different.

I think indians are our own thing. Our dark skinned people look more like dark southeast asians than blacks imo. but they'd be atypical in se asia as well.

To me, they look like a mix of Chinese and Tamil.

Is there such a thing as an "Indian look/type"? It really puzzles me, that I sometimes think of Pynjabis, sometimes Gujaratis, sometimes Kerelites and Tamils ... they all look very varied.

The stereotypical Indian look is different for each country, universally I think Aziz Ansari has the typical Indian look. In the UK the stereotypical Indian look would be someone who looks like Dev Patel.

I honestly think that Gracile Meds can sometimes really resemble lighter-skinned South Asians.
