Piracy of otherwise unavailable content should be legalized

I am interested in watching the movies like a civilised person, without having to do some shadowy things. But the owner has cut off my country from all official sources.

Occasionally owner sells the rights to the company in your country, especially in the movie industry. That's the biggest reason why some Netflix series isn't available in your region. I don't know any civilized way to go around it except use of VPN or (what I prefer more) proxies.

You're correct. I think that copyrights should only be owned for 5 years and that no company should be allowed to buy or sell a copyright. This in order to create a more open market because this kills creativity and thus closes a market by protecting a couple of companies that had nothing to do with the creation of a set work.
