Not that it really changes anything. All rapists and murderers deserve a death sentence. This guy got off too easily.

I just don't like how they are calling him Iraqi, and trying to demonize all people there. Also there not mentioning the victim's ethnicity but German when she is not, I believe just to stoke more anti-Mideastern propaganda. Of course this guy is scum and deserves punishment. I just don't like it when such stories are used for political agenda's. Also the KRG did the right thing in handing him to the proper authorities.

I agree it shouldn't be used to demonize Iraqis or Kurds as a whole but bringing attention to the dangers of Europe's suicidal immigration policies is necessary.

The more they destabilize Mideast and North Africa, the more of them come. If they don't want refugees they should not create them in the first place. Many of these refugees are victims of war crimes as well. It's not black and white. Refugees should be filtered if they are criminal convictions or if they are mentally insane, and many of them are due to the wars they have endured. This guy however seems to be scum, and his region only benefited form that devastating war.

Many European nations tagged in Iraq war Britain, Poland who were major, and it was European nations who destabilized Libya most notable being France/U.S and Britain. The more these nations get destabilized the more refugees come. I am not supportive of mass migration but there is root to this problem, it's not like the refugees just start pop up out of thin air. Also some economic migrants have taken advantage of the situation, and are not legitimate refugees, or some who are coming from SSA are now coming via Libya. Do you know what is the best cure? prevention. So if they did not want this issue they should have voted for the right politicians, far right or what have you. The more North Africa and the Mideast bleed the more they will come. Of course they can stop the refugee and immigrants from entering but that would create an international scandal and humanitarian criticism. No wars, no refugees no immigrants plain and simple.

I agree that mass immigration is problematic and never good. Also the foreign policy of idiots like Bush, Blair and others like Sarkozy are responsible for this, due to the destabilizing factor of the Mideast and to lesser extent North Africa. However I don't like it when they are hiding the ethnicity of the perpetrator and the victim, because they want to play on people's primal emotions. The KRG has it's done it's job in giving the guy to the proper authorities in Germany. There is no need to demonize anyone.
