Do most women prefer tall men, even if they aren't good looking?

Women all have different tastes although the vast majority prefer taller men... but I think between an unattractive tall man and a smaller attractive man, most women would prefer the smaller one as long as he is taller than herself and is not ridiculously small for a man (less than 1m70 is really small, for some 1m75/1m80 is the minimum... I think it's fine)
An average looking man who is tall definitely wins a bonus though... an average looking man who is small might loose some points...

But if I tell you that some women do not care (or care less) about height, would some of you guys sleep better tonight ? (It's the truth, some really do not care or they do care but find other features more important)

I re-thought about my response in this thread. Yes, they can be a bit odd looking (generally i don't go for the stereotypical handsome "symmetrical face, blue eye yadda yadda..") but looks can play a part in some way.
I DO have a type and a preference and only get attracted to specific types of people so probably i'll say no to this thread.

I would say I at least have the preference for the guy to be taller than me, I'm "only" 168cm. Other than that, I don't think height is that important and I don't understand why it's such a standard these days.

You might be tall but if you can't hold a conversation and you're a bore, I'd rather spend my time with someone else.

Not me personally... I like males as long as they are at least 170cm which is not unreasonable for me (157cm) as I believe I am about that height in heels
