Default Hungary: the future gypsy nation in Europe

Hungary is one of the countries of the world with more gypsies.

They are a really huge, aun unknown, percentage of the hungarian population, taking into account the latest statistics inform that 1/3 young students in many hungarian schools are gypsies, it´s such a huge part of the demographics of an european country. That rate of non-european students in schools are only equalled in the school of some very high inmigration rates of western countries as United Kingdom, France, Belgium or the Netherlands.

On this page they inform that:

With an estimated 20% to 25% of Hungarian children under the age of 5 being of Roma origin, the Hungarian government

25% of the new generations of hungarians are gypsies.

The official census informs that only 3% of hungarians are gypsies, but more reliable dates put the number up to 10%:

Most researchers estimate that the Roma comprise approximately 9% to 10% of Hungary’s population, even though official statistics compiled by Hungarian authorities are always lower than this, and almost certainly underestimate the actual size of the country’s largest minority. [...] But if people of Roma origin in Hungary are not reporting their heritage to census officials because they fear discrimination, then there is a problem. I suspect this to be the case, even though Hungarian society is traditionally quite assimilationist.

    Taking into account this information:

There is, even within the official statistics, a recognition of the rapid growth of the Roma minority, compared to the previous census in 2001. The proportion of the Roma population is more than 150% higher than it was 10 years prior. According to the census, one third of Hungary’s Roma population is under 18 years of age, which is double the national average.

This is the map of the women´s fertility by hungarian region, the highest fertility rates coincide with the regions with more gypsies:

And the previous photo of the % of gypsy youngs, we can conclude that north-east Hungary will become the first european region with a gypsy majority in the next decades.

I believe it, I am very minor Romani from my Jewish side.

Look at the oracle in my signature as proof, I'm not ethnically Hungarian either, just similar genetic mix as a few people from Southeast Hungary.

I don't know how accurate these numbers are, but this issue is no joke.
I don't see another solution than fast integration. And that will include mixing, otherwise gypsies won't integrate fast enough.

Without integration in a couple of generations gypsies can become the majority. It's not like in the past when gypsies had high birthrate but also high child mortality and low life expectancy. Only integration, improving the education levels (esp for women), and raising the living standards will lower the gypsy fertility rate.

A gypsy majority that identifies itself as Hungarian is still gypsy. Assimilation isn't a solution.

Well, Western Europe will be mostly Muslim and seemingly Eastern Europe will be mostly gypsy, each European regions will get its piece of the cake.

What you are saying has been happening for generations, and should continue based off the high # of Rom people that still call Hungary home.

I am renting this new house and Romanian Rom people live next door with big family, some look Slavic as me, most look Turkish, some look Indian. Is hard to tell if someone is Rom or no, but there is few indicators I noticed.
