    It doesn't surprise me considering that Slavic languages are not that divergent from one another..unlike say Semitic languages. Cool video.

    For some reason Polish language reminds me of Slovenian but I heard they are not that much similar.

    I can't grasp most of the conversation, just some separate words and phrases. Polish and Bulgarian are one of the most distant Slavic languages.

    Is it easier for you to understand Russian or other South-Slavic languages? Sometimes it seems for me that Bulagian is easier to understand than Ukrainian.

    Half/half. If written I can understand almost everything, but if a Russian speaks to me, especially fast, not so much.
    Serbo Croatian based on ijekavian? I think, is also quite hard

    And here is Bosnian and Polish. Naturally, these language would be slightly closer then what Bulgarian is to Polish.
    I surprised myself to understand the Polish about 65% with the explanations. It's mostly the accents that throw me off
