Alain Robert (born as Robert Alain Philippe on 7th August 1962) is a French rock climber and urban climber, from Digoin, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France.

Alain Robert is a real-life spiderman who has climbed 80 of the world's tallest megastructures, skyscrapers, bridges and famous tall landmarks all over the globe, (from the U.S. to Russia, from Australia to Europe, from China to Dubai.)

He's been arrested in numerous nations for illegally climbing up skyscrapers without permission, not even using a safety wire, and for climbing back down again after reaching the top.
