Hm. So you say AIC numbers of Westerners are inflated by the rent they pay. By how much though?

Uk seems to do well regardless, not as bad as gdp/capita shows.

    Brexit, make it happen.

So you can import migrants from Africa and Pakistan instead of EU.

Gypsies are a problem, I'm not going to pretend they're not.
But a minor problem in the overall mess that is immigration.

That sounds good, but I am skeptical. Many politicians promise to control emigration, but then the reality is the opposite.

Lily, my father-in-law went to work to your country, too. He wanted to start a new life & he is a hard-working guy. I understand you don't support mass immigration, but your posts are offending. He wanted a better life, just like Poles, Romanians etc.

In this Era in which brute force can not be used to stop emigration, it is extremely difficult to limit it. Good luck, but I doubt it. I think that only the origin of the emigrants will change: Eastern/Southern Europeans will be replaced by Caribbeans, Africans and Asians.

I wasn't referring to your father-in-law or to individual law-abiding migrants - but to the general problem we have in the UK in regards to crime and foreign inmates in UK prisons. If showing the statistics 'offends' you somehow, then just don't look at the statistics. The people who commit the crimes should be deported - which doesn't apply to the hard-working and law-abiding migrants of those nations.

We find it offensive having to tolerate pickpocketing and other crimes under our noses and paying Łmillions each week to fund other EU states.... and so we've voted to leave the EU.

The British economy has been stagnating for a number of years, principally due to a mixture of austerity, lack of innovation and the financialisation of the economy which killed off most of our industries.
