I've actually read wrong at first, my brain assumed that we were talking about BOND GIRL, not 007 character itself.
Anyway, hollywood is pushing girls doing amazing things out of reality many years already...

"Annihilation" was a great movie with almost an entirely female cast, a few big names, good acting, and it was an interesting story that didn't need to piggyback on an existing franchise, yet it got no attention and hardly anyone saw it. Can't explain that.

I'm not even surprised at this point, it's prob gonna suck anyways just like oceans 8 and ghostbusters with females. Hollywood would rather lazily remake films with woke casting then create separate original series with original woman or minority characters befitting the main roles
