What's the difference between Kurds and Turks? They look the same to me.

it was you my friend who tried to portray an ethnic turkish man as a Kurd, not me, only because the guy has a liitle bit darker features, its you that is obseesed, not me and i know this game, we Kurds are what we are, this man is not kurdish but i understand because of his eyebrows and darker features he has to be. I have only reacted to this. Its always the same someone is good looking, hes a Turk, someone is not looking good, then he must be a Kurd. I know how Turks look like and you know very well how we look like, of course the Kurds are darker then population groups who originate from Europe but they are not darker then the general anatolian population because they form a part of it and this guy fits very well into it, eventhough hes on the darker side but still in the range you encounter in Turkey, no matter what his ethnic affiliation is, people who lived a rural life until recently tend to be darker then urban populations, thats especially the case in the Middle East.

1. I never said that it's impossible of he to be ethnic Turkish. I said he is probably a Kurd because he looks like one(i wasn't talking about being "good-looking" either, but his Iranic phenotype). Any unbiased person who lives in Turkey here will agree with me.

2. No, you didn't. Neither is from your business how we are supposed to look like. Keep your nose far from any thread here involving Turkey or Turks, no one is interested about your opinion.

He has only thick eyebrow. Otherwise he looks like a 'pure' Turk to me. Very Turanic + Armenoide look. Never met a Kurd like him.

Lately there are many mixed marriages between Turks and Kurds. even in Afyon (western turkey), there are a lot of half-blood villages. It is perfectly possible that within 70-100 years, Turks and Kurds will become indistinguishable.

Currently there are clear differences (especially in the west/south and north).

Real ethnic Turks did always look more 'eastern' then Kurds because Kurds have always been West Eurasian people, while original Turks were Eastern Eurasian. No matter how much Anatolian Turks mix with the Balcanic people, they will never loose their 'eastern' (mongoloid) look in them.

Turks will never be considered as 'western' people at the first place since everybody knows their roots and everybody knows what kind of language they speak.

It is too late and it will never happen. 100 years ago there were only 3,5 million Kurds and we didn't change our DNA. Nowadays there are 50 million Kurds. With other words, Kurds will always stay the 'purest' Iranic people on this planet.
