the problem here is that the Turks try to portray themself whiter then they are and us Kurds darker then we are and they try to implant the impression that every person who s a liitle bit darker is a Kurd but that not the case beside the fact that kurdish men tend to look better then the turkish men. Every turkish girl i met told me so, i am even married to a turkish woman, i know how Turks look like.
The darkest people i have met were from the areas of Sivas Malatya and Kasyseri. There are white looking people in the north, in areas where Circassians have settled and some major agglomerations because of greek and italian and slavic and albanian influence ( they look European because they are in fact Europeans) but how people look like is shaped by the region regardless of the ethnic affilation. The rural turkish anatolian population are generally speaking the darkest population groups in Turkey and the one you encounter the most all over Turkey.

Why are these Iranian, Arabs, Kurds, etc so obsessed with us? You are a brown middle-eastern. Accept who you are and stop throwing your frustration and OWD toward us, please. We have our right of having our identity and i'm sure that almost no Turk is interested in being lumped/grouped with MENA of your kind. About "rural Turks" being the "darkest population" in Turkey, lets see it then.

I have only reacted to this. Its always the same someone is good looking, hes a Turk, someone is not looking good, then he must be a Kurd. I know how Turks look like and you know very well how we look like, of course the Kurds are darker then population groups who originate from Europe but they are not darker then the general anatolian population because they form a part of it and this guy fits very well into it, eventhough hes on the darker side but still in the range you encounter in Turkey, no matter what his ethnic affiliation is, people who lived a rural life until recently tend to be darker then urban populations, thats especially the case in the Middle East.

it depends on region. there are certainly kurds that would fit as a turk in central/eastern and to a lesser extent southern anatolia,

btw; i have seen many beautiful kurdish girls.

Robust or Proto Iranid has a strong jawline with broad chin. This is like the trademark of Kurdish and purest forms of Lurs in the Iranian Plateau. Compare the Cap Med Turkish Op man with the robust or proto Iranid men below (all are Persians, Kurds, Lurs). OP lacks the characterstic Jawline of Proto Iranid phenotype.

I do not understand the problem here, OP man is a hardworking turkish man who happens to be bit hairy. If he properly groomed he will look like a normal west asian.

you have made your case and opinions need to be based on facts, this is a textbook Cap Med, the Turks provided no facts but rather showcase their typical ignorance.
A man from Ankara is suddenly a Kurd because there are some villages south of Ankara, funny 20 years ago we did not even exist in Turkey and now pick up a guy anywhere in Turkey and he could probably be a Kurd, depending on this look, as there are no darker Turks.
Whenever you encounter Turks, they portray themself as super handsome people while everybody who does not fit must be something else.
