Interesting question but I already replied to this on the FB dna group anyway my situation is a bit weird because I lost contact with my father but he never told me about his tribe and even my uncles ( I think himself doesn't know from which tribe he's from) all he knew was that his father was from Oujda and he told me that they are a big and old family there. Moreover he never spoke about a countryside origin so his family was probably already in oujda way before the french protectorate. A guy told me that it was maybe because they descend from arab tribes of oujda ( and I'm indeed J1 but I don't have a lot of arab ancestry according to my dna test I'm even less ME shifted than the average). His mother is a kebdana from the berkane area and my father has some relatives in Algeria but according to him they were moroccans who went in algeria for unknown reasons. ( my mother is from the ait tafersit tribe)

Make sense, many Arabs settled in Oujda and Angad and they all married Berber women.
